Market Update (23 December 2008)
At the AGM of the 26 November, the Company announced that the Windimurra Vanadium project completion would be delayed. This resulted from late supply of equipment and materials and delays in obtaining statutory approvals.To read more about this announcement click on this link.
Windimurra Production on Schedule for Q1 2009 (16 October 2008)
Key points:
- The project is on target to produce Ferrovanadium in the March Quarter of 2009
- Funding in place to complete construction
- Mining to commence in November 2008 following approval received from DOIR
- Project economics supported by strong vanadium prices and a lower A$
- Operational procurement and staff recruitment is well advanced
- All production has been sold to Noble Group via marketing agreement
